Nenuphar
Smithsonian American Art Museum members are invited to attend a special presentation on the Save Outdoor Sculpture! program.

Join Rachel Allen and Christine Hennessey from SAAM's Research and Scholars Center as they discuss the Save Outdoor Sculpture! program, illustrated by fascinating examples of outdoor sculpture from across the United States.

In the first-ever survey of our nation's outdoor sculpture, hundreds of organizations and thousands of volunteers worked with SAAM and co-sponsor Heritage Preservation to survey artworks and build an extraordinary database resource.

Almost 32,000 sculptures have been surveyed in plazas, parks, and town squares across the country, and efforts continue to catalog and preserve this invaluable heritage.

To learn more about becoming a SAAM member, please contact our membership office for more information at memberaa@nmaa.si.edu or read more about the benefits of membership and join today!
