Snack Attack!

Celebrate Snack Food Month, an event started by the Snack Food Association and enjoyed by Twinkie™-lovers worldwide!

Wayne Thiebaud's etching of tasty looking cakes captures America's love for sweets!

His previous training as a cartoonist and a Disney employee—as well as the time he spent working behind the concession counter in a movie theater—heavily influenced the way that Thiebaud painted. In works like this one, he has taken an everyday edible object and made it look like something unique enough to have its portrait painted!
