Say "Oink!"
Grunting "uff, uff" at face-level can build friendship with a pig, though any softly spoken sound might work.Where would we be without pigs, sheep, chickens, cows, and a host of other animals that inhabit our farms?
During National Farm Animals Awareness Week, learn about a different group of animals every day. Today's feature, Pigs, illustrates a fun facta happy pig rests for more than 82 percent of its day!
In addition, pigs are sophisticated conversationalists. Squeals are probably their most important means of communication. Twenty different calls have been identified, and about six are easily recognizable to humans. So go ahead, say "oink"or "wheeeiii" or "gronk." Pigs just might reply!
