Documentary shorts, that is!
A number of documentaries and other programs accompany our exhibition George Catlin and His Indian Gallery.
At the Renwick Gallery at 1:00 P.M. today, we screen a 30-minute film Momaday: Voice of the West. In this short movie, N. Scott Momaday, a Pulitzer Prize winning novelist, storyteller, and educator, shares his knowledge of Plains Indian culture. Whether you attend the film or not, you can enjoy today's etching, an artwork in our collection by the multitalented Momaday!
The Renwick Gallery is located at Pennsylvania Avenue and 17th Street N.W., across the street from the White House. Please see our program calendar for more exciting exhibition-related events.
