Celebrate Native American creativity at our Indian Market this weekend!
From 10:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday, visitors can purchase a wide range of craft items from knowledgeable artists. Don't miss this great holiday shopping opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind Native American crafts.
Demonstrations by the artists will be held in the Grand Salon throughout both days. Marietta Juanico from the Acoma Pueblo will show her pottery techniques, Tony and Ola Eriacho from the Zuni Pueblo will demonstrate the inlay technique used in their jewelry, and Gerald Barnes, Passamaqoddy, will demonstrate his split ash basket technique.
This event, planned with the U.S. Department of the Interior's Indian Craft Shop, complements our exhibition George Catlin and His Indian Gallery. The Renwick Gallery is located at Pennsylvania Avenue and 17th Street N.W., across the street from the White House.
