Artist Wanted!
Let's take out an "ad" in honor of Ad Reinhardt, known for his abstract works.
Reinhardt, born on this day in 1913, insisted that art be understood on its own terms, without reference to social, political, or literary ideas. He also rejected any connection between his compositions and nature, saying, "I claim that people who paint trees and grass don't like them. I like the real things, not images of them."
