Bachelors, Beware! Leap year brings an extra day in February and a quaint tradition.
On Bachelor's Day, observed only in leap years, bachelors are regarded as "fair game" for dates and proposals of marriage. Could this be what Dan Dailey had in mind when he designed his humorous lamp, titled Huntress? To see other examples of contemporary craft, visit the Renwick Gallery, located at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, across from the White House.
