The World According to Rockwell Kent

Self-Portrait (It's Me O Lord)

[My art is] my own attempt to show in line, or paint on canvas how beautiful I've found the world to be. If to the viewer's eyes my world appears less beautiful than his, I'm to be pitied and the viewer praised.
