Hooray for National Frugal Fun Day!
Be a cheapskate, pinch your pennies, and let the fun begin! Today is your day to do at least one fascinating thing that is cost free.
Take a hike, have a picnic, visit an art museum, create a work of art!
If you need ideas, visit Cappy the Giraffe, on our educational website, Bottlecaps to Brushes. Learn how sitting under the kitchen tables at relatives' homes inspired artist Larry Yáñez to make the artwork shown here.
Larry Yáñez grew up in the Southwest, and he enjoys being part of the Chicano community there. In his community and in his artwork, the customs of the United States and Mexico are combined.
