Have a Fetish for Shoes or Handbags?
Ed Paschke's Shoe Sack satisfies both cravings!Plus it highlights Polish American Heritage Month, held annually during the month of October. Celebrate Polish history, culture, and contributions all month long.
Polish American artist Ed Paschke was born in Chicago and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is commonly grouped with other artists from the Windy City who exhibited their works in the late 1960s, the Imagists. Although their works were varied, the Imagists found inspiration in pop art and surrealism. The neon colors and exaggerated form of Shoe Sack are classic elements of Paschke's Imagist style.
