Kids, make your own Personality Box!

What's a Personality Box? It's a box containing your favorite things!

Personality Boxes are inspired by the artist Joseph Cornell, who is pictured above. He made lots of boxes to hold things he collected in and around New York City. Scroll down to see one of his artworks below.

If you go to our kids' activity web site, Bottlecaps to Brushes, you can follow the directions to make boxes similar to Cornell's. First, choose objects that you like, such as beads, shells, and pictures from magazines. Then, find a box and arrange the items for display.
