Biography

Deborah Aguado’s father was an ironworker, and she became interested in working with metal at a very young age. She attended the Academy of Arts in Salzburg, where she received the State Honor Award in 1973. Her bold pieces of jewelry are primarily crafted from silver and gold and often incorporate precious stones. Using architectural motifs, Aguado creates small pieces that explore geometric structure and movement.
