Biography

Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1948. Lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and San Francisco, California. She has received a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship (1983) and a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship (1981). Rubenstein's work was included in The Essential Landscape: The New Mexico Photographic Survey (University of New Mexico Press, 1985).
