Luce Artist Biography
Stanley Lechtzin studied at Wayne State and at Cranbrook School of Art before taking a teaching job at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Throughout his career, Lechtzin has consistently embraced new technologies and the possibilities they create for artistic expression, abandoning handwork in 1987 in favor of computer technology. He continues to teach jewelry, metals, and computer-aided design and manufacturing at Tyler.
