Artwork Description
In the Helixikos Series, Hans Hokanson explored different combinations of carved spirals. Helixikos #13 is composed of two interlocking spirals that appear to twist and pull in different directions. The weight and solidity of the sculpture reflect the massive piece of wood from which it was carved.
