Artwork Description

John Satterfield made jewelry, vessels, and kinetic toys from a wide variety of metals. Mechanical forms inspired him, and the elements in his designs often resemble wheels, levers, and switches. The geometric pieces in Tea Set rest on tiny balls and resemble miniature robots, about to be set in motion.
