Artwork Description
The Army insignia pin was one of several U.S. Army badges designed by the sculptor Anthony de Francisci between 1922 and 1925. This version shows the ancient Roman fasces, the bundled sheaves of wheat symbolizing strength through unity, crossed against the eagle’s breast.
