The long, horizontal format perfectly captures the sweep of this bridge over Idaho’s Snake River. Klipper’s camera angle flattens the joining of the bridge to the land as it connects the opposite banks of the chasm. This view emphasizes the progress man has made in controlling the land by building ribbons of concrete and steel across seemingly insurmountable barriers.
