Biography of Frederick Winthrop Ramsdell

Recognized as a landscape and portrait painter, Frederick Ramsdell studied in Paris and at the Art Students League in New York. After spending several years in Europe, he returned to the United States and joined a colony of painters in Lyme, Connecticut.
