Bottlecaps from more than thirty-four brands of beverages (including the French Vichy Etat water bottler, Canada's Molson brewery, and British manufacturers Bryant's and Schweppes) give this giraffe a decidedly cosmopolitan air. Its creator has adapted other materials as well. The ears are fashioned from tree branches and the tail from fur. Like a large pull toy, the giraffe was originally rigged so its mouth would open and close at the pull of a wire.
