Known for his spontaneous and direct approach to turning wood on a lathe, often rough-shaping his pieces with a chain saw, Mark Lindquist challenges the time honored traditions of the craft. This piece features an undulating rim juxtaposed against two sets of opposing diagonal flutes that convey an effect of twisting movement.
