Albert Paley is Professor and Artist in Residence holding the Charlotte Fredericks Mowris Endowed Chair, School for American Crafts, College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY. His most recent exhibitions include "Albert Paley: Organic Logic" at the Peter Joseph Gallery in New York, "Inspiration & Context: The Drawings of Albert Paley," at the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester, and "Albert Paley: Drawings and Sculpture" at the Temple Gallery, in Philadelphia.

Among his major commissions: sculptures for Montgomery County, Maryland; the Cornell University Medical College, and Wortham Center for the Performing Arts, in Houston.
