Greentown
was once a major production center for NATCO, a ceramic tile
manufacturer. In the middle of the century, a fire broke out
in one of the extrusion plants, the plant folded, and Greentown
became a rural town until its recent development.
The Coblentzes were Amish who did the threshing for the area
farming industry. Across the street was a Hoover farm, usually
cropped by the residents (Now owned by the Kleins). The farm
has a small woods which housed a camp where Boy Scouts frequented
into the 1970's.
