This
corner was an area where many deadly accidents occurred. On
prom night in my Junior year, I was broad-sided in a potentially
fatal car accident. In 1998, the residents petitioned for
improvement of the intersection through cutting the crown
of the hill to increase visibility, widening of the crossing,
and installation of a traffic light. In addition. The area
is one of the most noted for 5-acre single family dwellings,
cited as one of the most pointed causes of sprawl.
