The Strip is bright and colorful at night; the saturated colors of neon and illuminated logos brighten the nighttime sky as shoppers visit their favorite stores. Thirty miles to the south, the local astronomy association can no longer view to the northwest as the light from the Strip and Belden Village fills that part of the nighttime sky.
