This bridge is a central access point between the University of Akron, the Inventor's Hall of Fame, St. Bernard's church, and E.J. Thomas performance hall. In the distance is Quaker Square, a renovated Quaker Oats factory. all illustrate the efforts Akron has made in to merge its industrial past with new initiatives in order to compete with the larger regional environment.
