and Infrastructure
This is the site of an upcoming
convention center project. In addition, there has been much
talk about light rail to alleviate infrastructural problems
linked to increased development. From the early 1900's there
was the InterUrban railway system that connected a number
of cities near the Ohio Canal, including North Canton. The
rails were pulled up decades later in favor of the automobile
as primary mode of mass transportation.
