From the Ground Up
Renwick Craft Invitational 2007

Artists' Roundtable
March 30, 2007

Working in traditional craft media, the four artists featured in From the Ground Up share an awareness of both artistic and decorative traditions. The significance of their work is inextricably linked to their chosen materials and techniques.

On March 30, 2007 artists Paula Bartron, Jocelyn Châteauvert, Beth Lipman, and Beth Cavener Stichter discussed their work at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The discussion was moderated by Susanne Frantz, an independent curator and former curator of twentieth-century glass at the Corning Museum of Glass, and Jane Milosch, curator at the Renwick.

This event was a Smithsonian Women's Committee Lecture on American Craft.
