Condition: A talon was forcibly snapped off the foot of this chair’s proper left front leg.
Treatment: Wood fiber distortions were controlled to allow for proper break alignment. The talon was reattached using adhesives and clamps. The seam was filled with tinted wax and inpainted to match the wood’s natural color |
