Renwick Renovation

A major renovation of the Renwick Gallery is now in the design phase. The lead architects are Westlake Reed Leskosky, based in Cleveland with offices in Washington, D.C. This project includes completely renewed infrastructure, enhanced historic features and other upgrades that will make the National Historic Landmark building a 21st-century destination attraction. The Renwick Gallery will close to the public in early 2014 with plans to reopen in 2016.

Photographs of the Renwick Gallery, both historical and contemporary, can be downloaded for use in media coverage of the Renwick Gallery only from the Images link in the Press Room. Email americanartpressoffice[at]si.edu for the password.
