Renwick 40th Anniversary Postcard Design Competition
The Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum is celebrating its 40th year—40 years of the best in American craft, decorative arts, exhibitions, and programs. To commemorate this milestone, we challenged our visitors to design a postcard to help us celebrate. Becca Kallem of Arlington, Virginia, created the winning design pictured above. You can purchase Kallem's design in our shop for $1.00 while supplies last. We hope you can visit the Renwick during its 40th year.
Many exciting exhibitions are lined up that we are sure you will enjoy, including 40 under 40: Craft Futures, which features 40 artists born since the Smithsonian American Art Museum's contemporary craft and decorative arts program was established at the Renwick Gallery.
