Save Outdoor Sculpture!
Conservation Treatment Notification Report

Through Save Outdoor Sculpture! (SOS!), a joint project of Heritage Preservation and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, nearly 32,000 outdoor sculptures were surveyed and condition assessments performed. SOS! data is now online as part of the Smithsonian American Art Museum's national Inventories of American Painting and Sculpture database.

You can help us keep information current. As owner, administrator, or conservator, use this form to notify us whenever conservation treatment (not routine maintenance) has been performed on an outdoor sculpture in your care. Use this form in lieu of sending us copies of professional assessments or full treatment reports.
