Young Adult, Adult Nicholas The 21st Century Consort presents the music of our time in a challenging and enjoyable program with Artistic Director Christopher Kendall and consort artists Elisabeth Adkins, Paul Cigan, Lisa Emenheiser, Tom Jones, Sara Stern, and Rachel Young, with guest soloists Lucy Shelton and William Sharp. The concert is a tribute to the late Nicholas Maw, Washington resident for twenty-five years and among the great composers of our time. Members of the consort will perform Maw’s intensely lyrical music, including Head of Orpheus, Ghost Dances, Roman Canticle, and La Vita Nuova.
