The Director's Circle is a dedicated group of arts supporters that help the Smithsonian American Art Museum offer exciting exhibitions, build a world-class collection of American art, and offer innovative education programs to students and audiences across the nation. Director's Circle contributions support the museum's docent program, which in 2010 served over 13,000 students through in-gallery tours, workshops, outreach and distance learning.
