Exhibition Sponsorship Opportunities
The Smithsonian American Art Museum and its Renwick Gallery depend on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to fulfill its mission. These contributions are needed to supplement the federal government support which is about two-thirds of the Smithsonian's budget. Most programs and exhibitions enjoyed by the public rely on private support to become a reality.
More than one million visitors annually enjoy the Smithsonian American Art Museum, both in Washington, D.C. and in communities across the country. Special exhibitions are central to the visitor experience and to SAAM's educational outreach. If you are interested in receiving more information about the benefits of exhibition sponsorship, please contact Elaine Webster, Development Officer, at WebsterE@si.edu or 202-633-8420.
