Howard created a unique fenced-in environment at the Fulton, Missouri, home he called "Sorehead Hill" as a forum for airing his religious, political, and philosophical convictions. This panel, like others which he nailed end-to-end to sheds and fence posts, exhorts people to read the Bible and take its lessons to heart. Beginning with citations from the Book of Genesis and ending with the Revelation of St. John the Divine, the messages on this construction span the entire Bible. |
