A Pentecostal evangelist, Blayney used his depictions of fantastical monsters, heaven and hell, and angels and devils to express his passionate concern about the world's moral decay. This panel incorporates references to St. John's vision on the island of Patmos as well as Blayney's cryptic prophetic vocabulary. Huge red and white copyright symbols and warnings of "All Rights Reserved" may indicate that, while Blayney did not doubt his eventual salvation, he felt the need to protect himself on earth.
