| This attenuated blown vase with its wide base provided the artist with a broad surface for his painted imagery. Using multicolored lusters, Corradetti layers his colors between multiple firings to achieve rich surfaces. The black background is a perfect foil for the dreamlike quality of the painted images that twist and wrap around his forms. |
