| Careful not to detract from their baskets as vessels, these craft artists avoid unnecessary appendages to their beautifully constructed containers. This basket features a double layer of alternating strips, one dark and one light, that are delicately sewn together with linen threads. A sense of energy is conveyed by the bulging body, which is constrained only by its slanted and narrow collar. |
