Mastery of technique was essential to the creation of this difficult and intricate vessel form. Oxman incorporated a multitude of decorative devices--from photo transfers to 22k gold--to convey a romantic and baroque sense of exuberance. Heavily encrusted with applied flowers and leaves, sensuously drawn contemporary nudes flaunt their lack of inhibition adjacent to nostalgic portraits of Victorian women.
