Challenged by the many possibilities of what a vessel might be, Petrochko worked with contrasting woods found on two different continents to create this striking bowl. By laminating his woods and passing them through a bandsaw, he is able to fashion vessels whose sides are curvilinear and sensuous in their configuration.
