| Although this large and elaborate vessel gives the illusion of being a basket woven with reeds, in reality it is made of wood turned on a lathe. Inspired by the designs and shapes of Apache baskets, Seitzman embellished this jar with delightful, bold geometric designs in the shapes of human figures and animals. |
