Artwork Description

ADT was known as the American District Telegraph when it was organized in 1874. The obverse of Joseph Renier’s design depicts a Roman warrior whose shield symbolizes the protection offered by ADT. to industries and homes. Research has not revealed the purpose for which this medal was designed.
