21st Century Consort: Black Angels

Saturday, April 13, 2019, 4 – 7pm EDT
Artists Respond: American Art and the Vietnam War, 1965–1975 examines a harrowing and formative period in America. The Consort, SAAM’s contemporary classic ensemble-in residence, mounts a musical corollary to the exhibition with works that speak to the tenor of the times and the pervasive cultural impact that still radiates from them. Join the Consort at 4 p.m. for a pre-concert lecture, followed by the concert beginning at 5 p.m.
