Handwork: Contemporary CraftOpen House

Join us at SAAM’s Renwick Gallery for a new installation of the contemporary craft collection. See longtime favorites such as Wendell Castle’s Ghost Clock, as well as works acquired through Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026, an initiative organized by Craft in America. Chat with curatorial staff as well as the artists whose work is on view in the galleries, including Roberto Benavidez, Elizabeth Brim, Vicki Essig, Chief Bill Harris, Ato Ribeiro and Diego Romero. Craft activities and a scavenger hunt will be available to provide fun for participants of all ages!
