Luce Unplugged - Lavender

Thursday, May 7, 2020, 5:30 – 7pm EDT
Luce Unplugged invites local musicians to perform in the SAAM’s one-of-a-kind programming space, the Luce Foundation Center, surrounded by more than 3,000 works of art. This series is presented with Hometown Sounds, a biweekly podcast and music blog. Libations and snacks are available for purchase from an on-site bar. A staff-led talk about artworks chosen by the performing artists starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by a performance at 6 p.m.

Lavender is made up of "four friends, 25 pink flamingos, and a synthesizer named Duane." Their polished, guitar-driven pop feels equally at home on a mixtape or an electric live show.

Talk at 5:30 p.m. | Music at 6 p.m.
