In-Person Teacher Workshops—Big Art, Big Systems (Civics)

Saturday, January 22, 2022, 10am – 12:30pm EST
Let’s meet in the Smithsonian American Art Museum galleries, for the first time in a while, to examine some of the museum’s largest works. Using these artworks as a jumping-off point, discuss how careful analysis of end products might help us uncover the “rules” that govern them, a key move in empowering student citizens to shape their future. This in-person workshop covers themes relating to civics and is designed for educators of all grade levels and disciplines.
