Teacher Workshop: Second Impressions: Images, Slogans, and Influence

Wednesday, September 23, 2020, 4 – 5pm EDT
We are bombarded with 10,000 branded messages a day. Every image and slogan carries a web of complex associations with it. In this online workshop designed for K-12 educators, consider how constructed images and words work to influence our behavior in subtle ways. Practice a Project Zero thinking routine to hone students’ critical thinking and media literacy skills through close looking and reading. Co-presented with Planet Word.
