Teacher Workshops Online—Heart and Head, A Call to Action (Global Competency)

Wednesday, November 17, 2021, 4:30 – 5:45pm EST
Chicanx printmakers created vibrant images designed to raise awareness of social ills and to compel action. Join the Smithsonian American Art Museum for an online workshop, designed for educators, that examines global competency principles. Explore the work of Chicanx artists and hear the voices of youth activists today to uncover strategies for both educating and inspiring others through art. Then, apply this evolving knowledge with a quick design challenge activity. This virtual workshop is designed for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines.
