Teacher Workshops Online—Memorials and Memory (SEL)

Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 4:30 – 6pm EDT
Military service impacts those who serve as well as their families. Join the Smithsonian American Art Museum for an online workshop, designed for educators, that examines social and emotional learning techniques. Learn more about artists whose legacy of service colors their work. Examine how they mark, mourn, and celebrate their military service. How might their artworks give us, and our students, a way to feel connected? This virtual workshop is designed for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines.
